I am a simple man.

I’ve stumbled my way through most of my life.
I did my best.

And I found a lot of success.

I checked the boxes that make a “successful man.”
I’ve got the resume.

And I did most of it against all odds.

Then cancer showed up.
Not once.
Over and over again…every time I go under that scanner.

I spent years building a life I thought I’d be able to enjoy one day....
with my family.

The same family I was running from.

Waiting for the conditions to change.
Waiting for the day to come.

“One day”.

And entirely absent from the life I was already in.
Surrounded.
Completely alone.

I went on a long search to figure out what was wrong.
What I found was simple.

I was avoiding the truth in my life.

So I stopped.
And everything changed.

It didn’t get easier.
I can feel it though.
And it is better than anything I thought “one day” would be.

Change moves at the speed of honesty.

You already know.
You just haven’t accepted that you already know.

I enjoy my life.

I spend time with my family.
I write.
I work in and on businesses as an operator.

And I don’t avoid the truth in my life anymore.

That’s what everything here comes back to.

I work with people who know there’s more.
And are ready to stop pretending there isn’t.

In rooms.
In retreats.
In conversations with founders and executives.

We write.
We sit in discomfort.

We ask better questions.

We stop negotiating with reality.

And we build from what's true.
